Booking
A provisional booking will be
be held for 5 days. If we have not received your deposit within 5 days, we regret that your provisional booking will
lapse.
Deposit
If a booking is made eight weeks or more before the holiday starts, the
deposit must be paid. The balance, including the Breakage Deposit of £100 as a separate cheque, is payable not later than
eight weeks before the start date. If your holiday begins less than eight weeks from the time of booking then the full rent
including the Breakage Deposit is payable immediately. The cheque should be made payable to Mrs. C. Ceredig-Evans.
Breakage Deposit
The £100 Breakage Deposit is paid as a separate cheque at the same time
as the balance. The Breakage Deposit is returned less any monies required to cover breakages/losses approximately
10 days after the end of your stay. The cheque should be made payable to Mrs. C. Ceredig-Evans.
Cheques and Booking information including names in the party and contact
address and telephone numbers should be sent to Mrs. C. Ceredig-Evans, Chycoll, Grumbla, Sancreed, Penzance, Cornwall, TR20
8QY.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation less than eight weeks before a holiday begins, the whole
rent is payable unless we succeed in re-letting. With more than eight weeks notice, the deposit only would be forfeited.
Arrival
and Departure
All holidays start and finish on a Saturday (except as agreed for out-of-season short breaks). Tenancies
commence at 3.00pm on the first day and terminate at 10.00am on the day of departure.
Short Breaks
(available
November-March inclusive) 3 nights minimum pro rata, plus £50.00.
Parking
There is ample parking at the property.
Cots
Guests will need to bring their own cot for children under 2 years.
No Smoking
Smoking
is not permitted in the property.
Pets
We regret that no pets are permitted.
Electricity, Gas, Central
Heating, Logs and Linen
Electricity, gas and central heating is included. Between October and March a "starter pack"
of logs, firelighters and matches is provided for a fire on the first evening. Duvets, duvet covers, pillows, pillow cases
and tea towels are provided. Towels are not provided, neither is linen for the cot.
Tenants' Obligations
The
tenant agrees:
* to pay for any losses or damage to the property
* to take good care of the property and leave
it in a clean and tidy condition at departure. The owners reserve the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the property
is not left in a satisfactory condition.
* to permit the owners and their agents reasonable access to the property
* not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party listed on the Booking
Form
* not to exceed the total number of people stipulated in the property description.
Liability
The
owners, Mr & Mrs Ceredig-Evans, shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether
to person or property which the applicant or any other person may suffer or sustain arising out of or in respect of any letting.
Governing Law
The contract embodied in the booking is governed by English Law, and is subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the English courts.
Complaints
We try to take every care to prepare the property to a standard
whereby our visitors will enjoy their holiday. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please let us know immediately.
Every effort will then be made to assist you. It is frustrating for all parties if you write after your holiday to tell
us about a problem that could have been solved had we known at the time.
